Giraffe stands on a lot of open-source work. This page will be auto-generated from the project's dependency manifest + NOTICE file so it stays accurate; until that generator lands, here's the short version with gratitude to the maintainers.

Core building blocks include Next.js and React (MIT), Tailwind CSS (MIT), Drizzle ORM and postgres (Apache-2.0 / Unlicense), Auth.js (ISC), Zod (MIT), next-intl (MIT), TipTap / ProseMirror and Y.js (MIT), and the extraction stack (pdfplumber, Tesseract, Defuddle, Docling — all MIT/Apache-2.0). Hosting and infrastructure run on Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Fly.io.

Our visual system uses Solar Icons for iconography (artwork licensed CC BY 4.0) and the Material Color Utilities colour engine (Apache-2.0), with the Fraunces and Inter typefaces (SIL Open Font License). The emoji used for reactions are Twemoji (artwork CC BY 4.0).
